Agree, personal abuse isn't nice but he is a ****ing poor footballer. He shouldn't be playing for us and neither should Klavan or Lovren, they're all pretty average footballers who are guilty of making too many mistakes time and time again.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Klopp was bigging him up previous, same as he did with Lovren. He should probably just not say anything to be honest as it keeps coming back to bite him on the arse.Originally posted by baitman View Posteven klopp defending him

The difference this season is that teams aren't really attacking us because we are so good on the counter teams are sitting deep and parking the bus, how many times have we mentioned it this season? Sevilla came out that second half and went for us. Moreno has been improved this season no question but improved on what? Let us be honest he has been absolutely poxy since joining us & this is probably the first game of the season in which a team has really come out and attacked us and exposed his fragility. Any side looking at that game last night will know our weak links & it is the same stuff all the time, defence and midfield.
For me, a few decent games this season can't erase the ****e 3 seasons prior to that. All the criticism he is getting for last nights game is more than justified & that type of performance is and will always be inevitable from Moreno. Klopp can try iron out mistakes and try improve Moreno defensively and say this and that in the media but you just can't change the mentality of a player. He is all over the place & is as scatty as they come.
He is not good enough, sick of having this ****ing conversation about the guy to be honest. Now after that **** show we have Chelsea up next, i hope that capitulation not not knocked the confidence as things really were looking really promising.
Anyways, I don't want to abuse the guy personally but he is just a **** defender and he is playing in a position that calls for him to do that from time to time. Not good enough... not by a long stretch.Last edited by danperkins; 22-11-17, 08:06 AM.

Keep it up Mad Albert!!Now, surely we can see the truth is somewhere in the middle based off these two posts.Originally posted by brightred View PostCan't believe some people are defending him. He is ****, always was....
He had a terrible game, awful. But he isnt ****, this seasons performances have proved that.
I just hope that this game doesnt knock him back again in confidence.*Except Michael, who died.

Our failing in controlling the midfield just didn't help his case. He was unlucky yesterday I thought. Sevilla just made a meal of both the actions on the penalty and the free kick. Had we started the second half better, we wouldn't have been talking about him. Again, it's reductive to say he's responsible and a bit clichéd punditry. Are we winning?

He's turned things around excellently this season but unfortunately still has games like that waiting to happen at any time.
He will get the majority of the abuse (and some of it is totally uncalled for and people need to grow up) but I'd also ask where did the midfield go in that 2nd half? It was shocking all over.
