I remember the chance, but did it not come on a break, where Moreno was upfield supporting the attack? In this instance, it was not a case of going missing, more that the lad, quick as he is, can't be in two places at once.

If we are expecting the wing backs to provide the width and get forwards, then there needs to be an understanding that occasionally they will get caught upfield...it's not a case of going "missing" tho, as that is harsh on the player.

Normally when there's a chance like that I'd agree with you, but on this occasion he had a good 10-15 yards on Coleman and simply didn't match his run.

No doubt he'll get reminded of that and be better for it.

stood on the sideline while sturridge was holding the ball and looking for an option. stood on the sideline and didnt follow a runner down his wing. little things that can be turning points either way.
