That little tilt of the head at the end cannot be unseen.

Whenever I see him, I just think, 'that's the lovechild of Gerrard and Alonso.'

          He even sounds like Alonso.

Really really like this lad, always got a smile on his face and puts everything in, when his legs get whirring he's absolutely rapid.

Needs to work on his defending a little bit, can dive in and get a bit excited but I think he's gonna be brilliant.

Yep, been a shame that he could not be eased into the side and has to try and adjust amongst the shambles we have been. Hopefully he gets a run in the team, he is the future in that LB position for us.

Ignoring the fact he hasn't played that much, why should he be eased into the team? If anything I'm disappointed he hasn't played more, despite the odd mistake.

He's a much better option as a wing back than a full back. I think his future here is more dependent on how we play long term though

Wing back suits him, less emphasis on defence as he is expected to provide width. Still feel that with time, left back will be his for the keeping, as he learns when to get forward and when to stay back.

When I said eased in I meant the team around him would be more settled and playing well.

I've no doubt he'll be a top player for us.

He still has a lot to learn, but I remember watching some of his game highlights from last year when I heard we were interested, and you could tell he was very raw then. I've not been surprised by anything I've seen. He's been handled the right way.
                            Forwards.......

Steep learning curve for him then. When Insua had his first full season for us, it was 08/09 when we were playing great, we won basically every game he was involved in and he played well. Made little difference as he still struggled next year, along with the rest of the team and was soon moved on (Hodgson ). Point being, hopefully Moreno will have learned more playing in a struggling team and making a few mistakes himself along the way. He definitely looks like he has the ability to succeed and hopefully this WB role will help make his adjustment to the PL and bit easier.
