Nobody seems to have brought up the fact that Moreno was out of the squad on the weekend and now brad smith is back on loan from Swindon.

No news of an injury and he was sent home from the Spain under 21 squad for technical reasons from what I have seen. Anyone shed some light on that???

He was training on the pitch after the game yesterday, I would imagine he's been rested for Wednesday.

I think Smith had a couple of injuries so that's why he was recalled? He isn't part of the C L squad anyway so it makes no difference for Wednesday which leads me to suspect this has nothing to do with Moreno and is an unconnected event

when we were first linked with this lad i watched a couple of his youtube highlight vids and it was plain to see he looked decent going forward. it was also obvious he wasnt all that sharp defensively and his main failing was his lack of being able to kick a ball with his right foot...

i know its only youtube vids, maybe the scouts saw more of his game when they went to watch him.
