He is still only 24 or so... I remember myself at that age, and I didnt have much 'intelligence' at that age. Some players click and mature and different ages. I think the liverpool team see the raw talent that he quite obviously has, and they are prepared to give him some time. Out of the whole team I would love him to come good and prove so many people wrong.

He playe well last night. Probably spends too long in the tattoo parlour but I also note that he is very good friends with Philippe and a happy player rarely moves.

As a wing-back he could potentially be very good but I think it's too little, too late. Robertson is similar with better crossing, we need a traditional leftback.

He did well under Rodgers in the 3-5-2/3-4-3 set-up, but he has to go. I know he had an ejaculatory game against Bayern, but he was also atrocious against Hertha Berlin.

We need players with intelligence, who can perform on a consistent basis, i.e. when they play, we know what to expect as a minimum every time.

A team set up with midfielders that don't bomb on and a full-back that does should be able to adequately deal with attacks behind that full-back, its pretty basic. In fact part of the reason I think Moreno is in the team right now is because of how limited out midfield option are with Coutinho and Lallana out, we've seen it last season with that midfield and Milner its just all a bit nothing, at least Moreno breaks the lines and offers an attacking threat.

If Henderson, Can, Wijnaldum aren't going to offer a threat going forward or dictate play they should at the very least be able to offer defensive protection when someone attempts to aid the front 3.

Henderson is in such a deep role that it either allows Lovren to go out and deal with it or for him to do it himself with either Wijnaldum or Can covering. As a team we can't deal with basic scenarios, plenty of teams play with fullbacks pressed really high up the pitch.

Is it? I thought he put in a couple of good corners and was unlucky on a couple of occasions.

When he just about kept the ball in but still managed to get a cross in, Firmino I think it was should have been getting across the near post, it was the only feasible place a cross could come in.

He could improve on his delivery no doubt, but he is a threat in what is an otherwise bland team behind the strikers.

Also, I think people are just too quick to jump on him, Trent had a very good game but cost us a goal and his general delivery on the night was pretty poor. He had a good enough game, Lovren was calamitous with Wijnaldum and Henderson being very poor for me.
