He's absolutely dreadful but surely we should get at £15m for him easily in todays market!?

nah i would take the money and move on. I suppose it depends on if there is a sniff of other teams interested but for me, he is a car crash cluster**** of a footballer and an idiot of a human being!!!
I can understand the rationale of people who say "loan him out and he will be worth more after a year of playing" and if it was someone like Origi then I would agree 100%. But Moreno is a clown. And if we loaned him out to someone like, say Newcastle or Southampton - then it is just as likely that he plays 2 or 3 times, gets found out for the idiot that he is, and doesn't get in their team. Then you are in Aquilani territory where you can't give the cunt away.
So I would say "it was with good intentions but he hasn't worked out. We've lost a million on a 12 million transfer......we've had worse days" and rip off that band aid and get it done.

I agree, and due to amortisiation I think we'd even bank a profit if we sell him for 11 million, just sell him already.Originally posted by frank the tank View Postnah i would take the money and move on. IMO the standard of Italian football (especially at the Milan clubs) is a pale imitation of what it once was so whilst I think Moreno would fit in to some extent (particularly on the occasionally reckless tackle front) I'm not sure his value would necessarily be enhanced
