I disagree with that Dan - when we got him (for a bargain £11m considering it was Sevilla) he was rated as one of the best left back prospects in the world. He had a rashness that a number of people pointed you (you also) but the feeling was he could have it coached out of him.

In the right formation (3-5-2 wing backs with DM) I think he'd do really well and I have no doubt we will make our money back + he was probably on relatively low wages.

Maybe for a team like Chelsea but he has the physical attributes to do well at a mid table level. I do agree that he is braindead from time to time but there have been games where his pace and left foot made him a better option than Milner.

The point I was making to Dan was at the time we signed him it was considered really good business and we'"" make our money back so not too much (financial) damage done.
