When Klopp realised Moreno was a nutter and asked Milner to play a season at full back he offered him either flank and he said he didn't mind, so Klopp was willing to stick Clyne at left back for a season previously..

Moreno pissed off because he wants more minutes is an obvious thing, I don't have an issue with that, although blabbing to the press when everything is rosy at LFC is not ideal.
Simple fact of the matter is that he has been frozen out because he's simply not good enough. Wasn't fussed on the signing originally and turned out worse than I ever imagined.
He 'll be gone in the summer, he 'll be happy, we 'll be happy and everyone here will be happy as you won't have to listen to me bleet on about how **** he is. Winners all round.
Terrible signing and best of luck whatever he goes. That felt like something I had to say but yeah I don't really care what he does.

Interesting, I never heard that beforeOriginally posted by Liverpool View PostWhen Klopp realised Moreno was a nutter and asked Milner to play a season at full back he offered him either flank and he said he didn't mind, so Klopp was willing to stick Clyne at left back for a season previously..The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I don't know why he's still here to be honest. If I were him I'd have been thinking I didn't have much chance of a career here from the point Milner replaced him at left back, that was 2.5 years ago. Once Milner was playing there week after week the writing was on the wall, fair play if he thought he could win his place back but when Robertson established himself last year surely that was it. I was shocked that he was still here when the window closed in the summer because he must have known he's be playing very few games. Why start moaning now?The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The original question/quoteOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostInteresting, I never heard that before
Did you enjoy your year at left-back? Personally I felt you did well!
and his answer..
No, I didn’t enjoy it, to be honest – but you do whatever’s asked of you for the team. The manager asked me to do it and I did it to the best of my ability. It’s not my best position, and hopefully I’ve shown that playing in midfield before and after, but if the manager asks you to play somewhere, you just do it. I told him that I didn’t particularly want to do it, but the team comes first.
I think the first time I had to play at left-back was at Manchester United in the Europa League – Alberto Moreno was injured and the manager gave me a choice: did I want to play at left-back or right-back? My answer was, “That’s like asking which one of these guys do you want to spend a night with your missus?!” His English wasn’t that good then, so I think it went over his head!
