I can't see us getting anything from this game either.

For a team that just won the league, playing a team that nobody fancies this year and struggled in their first game, they should be extremely confident.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostErm...
That's just from the first couple of pages. How much more confident do you want them to be?

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Harsh. It's at least pushing a five; We've got graphics and everything.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View Post2/10
Your thread title was what brought your marks down to a six. It was just too busy. The information - including TV information (as Chazza quite rightly says) - needs to be in the body of the thread, with uniformed thread titles for prediction, match and post match threads.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostI created an exemplary thread for the Southampton game
I'll school you all at some point during the season.

They are worried about getting overran in midfield if they play 4-4-2, but other than that they seem to see us as a one man team (Sterling).

Always the same old story, one man team this and that, Owen, Gerrard, Torres, Suarez.....rather tired of hearing this tbh.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostI did read that. Overall I'd say they're bullish bordering on Man United type arrogance.

This team has Coutinho, Sturridge, Raheem and Gerrard who are all capable of delivering something against anyone. Hopefully Lallana and Markovic will add to that when they get fit as well.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

It continues a general theme I've seen in the build up to this season; we're being dismissed already as also-rans.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostAlways the same old story, one man team this and that, Owen, Gerrard, Torres, Suarez.....rather tired of hearing this tbh.

To be honest, it's how we should want it. There are no expectations on us again and it will give the squad the extra motivation they need to prove everyone wrong again.

Based on their game against Newcastle, I think this is probably the most pertinent thing to watch out for:
From Blue Moon
Normally I love Kolarov, just think against Liverpool Clichy's pace will help.
That side would certainly contain their quick start. Then eventually with subs over power them.
Sergio, Nasri & Kolarov all game changers on the benchI wear my heart on my profile name.

I reckon Coutinho will be right up for this one after his poor Southampton blip. He will surprise Man City (and Manu fans) again!. Allen in for Lucas changes the whole midfield dynamic and puts us in a position of strength. Sturridge likes scoring against his former club too, so its not all about Sterling.
City have disappointingly got Dzeko playing well already. But it may have been one game. Hopefully Toure continues his still-waking sleeping giant act. They will play Navas against Johnson for sure and we may suffer as a result. One tit for another.

I thought it was good effort. Graphics a nice touch. Let down by the absence of the TV info but good all the same. I'd give it a 6.
