Imagine if we had a clue how to defend set pieces.... i maybe wrong but we are on over 10 goals conceded from set pieces.

Does anyone think that if we stayed as a three, its be worth taking a look at Wisdom & Illori?

Both pacey & mobile and CB by trade, and both can play full back.

Would prefer Wisdom to stay with Pulis for as long as possible. Lots to learn there. In the summer Wisdom could save us having to splash out for another expensive defender.

Not seen enough of Illori, always injured.

Played recently away to PSG. Don't know if was down to injuries.

My thing is that certain players wouldn't suit or aren't good enough to play in a flat back 4. But in a three man defence, different qualities are needed. No way I'd have Wisdom or Illori in a flat back 4. Neither look progressive enough to be a modern full back in a top side, neither strong enough to be a CB. But on the side in a 3, I think both could be worth a try.

Only conceded 3 goals in the last 6 league games. We've certainly become harder to score against since he's made the defensive changes.

Funny how the changes were made to enable us to be more creative. They've done that but also made us more solid....

I'd say it's pretty clear they were also made to solidify the defensive unit which gives the platform to become more creative.
