I agree about Balotelli and the players you mentioned. What formation though? 4-3-3 or diamond? I think I'd go for the diamond personally.

probably the diamond for me as well to be honest..... although Sturridge's movement in particular is excellent - it almost makes it a 4-3-3 when we don't have the ball but when one of the front 3 have the ball, the other 2 (plus Hendo and Lallana going forward) are all busting their bollocks to get into the box.....

When Balotelli gets used to playing with Sturridge and Sterling gets a bit more experience and can take up slightly better positions..... then we are going to go to another level. If Lallana and Markovic can settle in to this way of playing as well, then it has the potential to be frickin scary. When (because i think it will only be a matter of time - a bit like Ramsay at Arsenal) Henderson finds that extra 10% effectiveness in and around the opposition box, then we have the potential to be the best team in Europe. I know that is a big statement but the average age and potential of our team is very exciting.....

Next summer, i would like to see things only tweaked slightly.....add a goalie (Begovic) and a defensive midfielder (Mascherano would be amazing.....more likely a younger version) and Origi.....then that could be the final pieces of the jigsaw.... hopefully that will be making a title-winning team even stronger!!!

My worry is he won't want to disrupt both sides of the defence by moving Lovren to his less preferred side and will therefore put Toure in. Hope not.
