The Reds won both league fixtures against Spurs last term, scoring nine unanswered goals.
Their 5-0 win at White Hart Lane on 12 December 2013 is their biggest away to Tottenham.
It was also Spurs' heaviest home defeat since a 6-1 loss to Chelsea in December 1997.
Prior to last season, Spurs had won six successive home games against the Reds in all competitions.
Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs have won their last five Premier League home games, scoring a total of 18 goals.
Nacer Chadli's second goal against QPR followed a build-up of 48 passes - twice as long as any Premier League goal scored in 2013-14.
The last time Spurs began a season with three successive league wins was in 2009-10, when they won their opening four matches. They ended that campaign fourth, qualifying for the Champions League.
Eric Dier is the first defender to score in each of his first two Premier League appearances. So far he he has two goals from two shots attempted.
Liverpool
The Reds have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last eight Premier League games.
Liverpool have scored in their last 15 away matches in the Premier League. If they extend that sequence to 16 it will equal their club record in the top flight (set in May 1987).
The Reds' defeat at Manchester City was their first loss away from home in the Premier League in 2014 (W7, D2).
This is Brendan Rodgers's 100th match in charge of Liverpool in all competitions - victory on Sunday would match Bill Shankly and Rafa Benitez's records of 56 victories in their first 100 fixtures, Only Kenny Dalglish (62) has won more.
Mario Balotelli scored 30 goals in 54 league and cup games for AC Milan. Only 15 of those were from open play - 10 were penalties and five free-kicks.
He's not starting according to a few tweets. Sturridge, Sterling and Markovic are the front three...
Actually don't mind that at all, that has potential as well. We could be having a bench of Balo, Can, Lallana and Lambert - Beats Alberto, Aspas and Moses
* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.
I like that team. Johnson has caused himself a mischief and Manquillo is the obvious replacement. Hopefully the latter will be a little less giddy and a tad more focused. A great chance to see a forward thinking Lovren and Sakho and a doff of the cap to Moreno for his obvious want to play. Gerrard, Henderson and Allen picks itself whilst Lallana builds match fitness and Markovic's cameo against City and his link up play with Moreno has made Rodgers tweak things.
