Very good performance, can't wait for Balotteli and Can to settle in. I think Can will eventually be a regular starter. Moreno was excellent plus Sakho and Lovren just need to get used to each other. I ****ing love what we have to come off the bench as well especially when Lallana returns our depth looks very good.

The depth is crazily good, we had players coming on or not even used today that would walk straight in to that Spurs team and they're meant to be around the 5th-6th best team in the league!

And the scary thing is we still, easily, have a gear or two to go up from today's performance. Think when Balotelli hits his stride, when Lallana comes in, when Markovic and Can acclimatize, when the Lovren-Sakho partnership clicks.

Good team performance, Henderson was different class and helped by Allen who was also very good in helping us control the game.

What a ****ing run and finish from Moreno, he grew into the game really well and coped well with the different threats Spurs had down the right side.

Lovren I think was suspect today, on his backside far too much for my liking but if he reigns that in a touch he'll be a good player for us, just a bit rash at the moment.

6 points from those opening games is a very good return with the back 4 issues and bedding in of players! Hoping for a good performance and 3 points against Villa who again we've struggled against of late.

Back four was solid and Gerrard improved a lot second half. Im not sure Lallana will take the place of Allen as easily as it may seem.

Centre backs improved and Gerrard was much better in the second half.

Also agree on Allen - some on here will never see his worth to the team. We are so much better (in midfield and as a team) with him in the first eleven. 'Haters gonna hate'

2 of our hardest aways done now aswell! That start had potential to go wrong, some journos had probably already written the stories about Southampton beating the team who took a load of their players, City and Spurs away is tough at the best of times, Suarez gone even though he couldnt have played anyway, potential hangover from last season etc. But we've come through it well, the desire amongst this lot to succeed is very high and all the new signings look like they'll contribute!

Markovic looked so exciting when he came on last week so I wanted to see him driving it at them, giving Rodgers a problem on who to play next week. As I said its understandable the way we approached it, probably the smart way after what happened against Palace too.
