Pretty bored & very quiet on here with Int footy boring the crap out of ppl so what do we expect to see with Sturridge being available?

Does it mean that Borini comes in out of the cold? Or Markovic or Lallana or even Coutinho? Or Lambert for that matter.

The back 5 of Mig, Manquillo, Lovren , Sakho & Moreno pick themselves for me.

Then there's Stevie, Hendo & possibly Allen for the mid 3.

Sterling , Balotelli & ? Seems to be the only position in dispute.

This is all based on the assumption that no one gets injured.

Villa are decent in the middle of the park and fast on the break, hardworking wingers and 3 proper CM's with a strong lad like Balotelli holding it up for the pace out wide. Coutinho has been poor so far, needs to earn his place with a decent shift coming off the bench, Lallana needs to be eased in I think.

Ideally I'd say diamond with Sterling at the tip, but with Sturridge out I'd bring in Coutinho to start and have Sterling up top but with freedom to drop further back.

If Lallana is fit I'd play him there instead.
