Thanjk you.

He can't be 100% and there is more chance of him making any minor injury worse.
I ****ing hate England games. Who really gives a **** anymore about a crap team, full of overrated players with big egos (Rooney I'm looking at you in particular) that play boring football and also fail to succeed doing so?
It wouldn't surprise me if Woy is testing him. Just like he did with Sturridge and we know how that ended up.

Or he could have stopped training as a preventative measure and the press made more of it than was justified. I suspect that this sort of thing happens all the time but journalists usually have more pressing/interesting things to write about.

I'd actually be surprised if Lambert starts any games in the league unless both Balotelli and Sturridge or out. Maybe with the exception of West Ham or Stoke.

He'll probably start the odd cup match but yeah I agree that I'd be surprised if he starts this. I've got a feeling it may be Markovic that partners Balo for this.
Chelsea are after him, apparently. Never heard of him until i just read morning news on sky sports app lol
He's only been used as a sub in their Premier League matches, but he started in the league cup and was brilliant apparently. Attacking midfielder/winger type, fast and skilful.
At best he'll probably be a late sub against us, but he seems to be one to watch out for.
I'd like to see Lambert start but the problem with that formation is he likes to drop deep and that's the space Sterling will be occupying.
I would worry if that was our front 3, Rodgers might try Lambert out wide again.
Edit: I suppose though it could work. We are quite fluid and flexibe in attack, so if Lambert does drop deep during the game, Sterling could easily switch positions and play a bit further forward, making it even harder for him to be picked up.
