It's my opinion, I'm not expecting you to share it, or to care what it is. I think he'll be a flop in this league, no biggie. Maybe he won't and I'll be proven to be badly wrong, it wouldn't be the first time, but hey, who gives a ****?

Maybe you're right pal, but it's a little early isn't it (as you yourself said).
Why not give him the benefit of the doubt until, I don't know - maybe half a season through?

Personally I would give him 2 years given how young he is, but I guess you want immediate results.

Let's face it, we were all over the shop at times and Villa had us sussed. I don't expect us to win anything this year or go far in the CL. Too many new players to bed in.

Markovic is playing at 65%. For whatever reason he hasn't unleashed yet. This was a good game to get him and Lallana match fit. Shame we dropped the points but it was Villa. We would have lost with Suarez and Studge playing too.

Can't wait for Tuesday. One thing though: Lallana and Coutinho can't play in the same side, no variation thus easy to defend against.

Gerrard, he slows the play down.
Loven kept losing his man.
Balotelli was isolated but then he wasn't dynamic enough, Didn't make any runs into the channels.
Markovic, didn't run at people enough.
Lallana, don't seem fit, tried too hard.
Borini, came on and I didn't noticed him thereafter.

There was just too much emphasis on the new attacking spear head today. Last season our attacking trident was Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling. You can't start with none of them and expect the same results so early in the season. Sterling should have started and been rested once Sturridge was back - and vice versa while you integrate a new attack. Thats my opinion, and I am quite pleased how well I am typing considering how hammered out of my head I am.

I hope (but in reality it wont happen) that the FA ban senderos for at least 5 games. The off the ball hack and constant kicking him of the ball was ****ing ridiculous.

My first impressions of markovic is he will flop. That's my gut feeling. Hope I'm wrong and it is very early days to right him off. I think he will be better in the champions league. He seems to have confidence which is in his favour. I also think Lovren is ****. He thinks he is good but I see none of the commanding presence we crave. Mario will be fine. Tuesday is an annoyance, bring on the next league game.
