In line with the injury to Coutinho and Rossiter starting there's no way we're playing a diamond now. Therefore, it also makes sense resting Balotelli.

So a 4-3-3 which has proven to be bland and crablike for us so far this season. I reckon it will be slightly less overhauled than muddled's team:

With the fullbacks sitting deep and us playing on the counter (using Marko and Borini's pace and long ball nod downs to Lambert if needed). That's how I would do it anyway. No point exposing our brittle CBs to Boro's attackers.

I'd consider playing what I'd like to see as our main back four as it needs games together...manquilo/lovren/sakho/Moreno....but the way we get injuries I'd prob rotate and get some game time for the others
