We deserved the win, defensively we were solid and our play was showing signs of getting back to how we played last year.

We can't legislate for a once in a lifetime strike from some fat **** of a centre half.

We continue to play in the same vein and build on that performance and we're top 4 without a problem

We were much the better side and got done by a wonder strike. In saying that though Everton were awful & if we hadn't of been for us being so toothless..the game would have been well wrapped up by then. Lallana & Henderson were superb. Backline was very good too..which was a welcome sight.

We are really going to have to get a few wins together on the bounce, don't want to be dropping to far behind this early in the season.

I wouldnt be surprised if there is something fishy going on there. Chelsea got 28m for lukaku and 50m for luis.....just in time for their ffp compliance. Wouldnt be surprised if there was some brown envelopes going the other way...

4 wins from the next 5 would get us close to where we should be. Given they are West Brom, QPR, Hull, Swansea and Newcastle then 4 wins should really be the minimum if we think we're going to come close to last year's exploits.

I thought it was our best performance other than Spurs, and we showed good signs of making a 4-2-3-1 work, which we hadn't so far this season. Markovic still looks off the pace but him apart I was pleased with the performance. Moreno is going to be an awesome player - targeted specifically by them with Lukaku on him but he was fantastic.
