We had to match one of Basels results to have a chance. We've done that. Beat Ludo away and Basel at home and we are through, regardless of the rest of the results.

Gulf in quality was ridiculous. Madrid where phenomenal, cruised the game & IMO could have destroyed us but not breaking a sweat before the Barca game.

Not surprised at the result. Balotelli shouldn't start again, terrible signing. The whole backline was dire again, some worse than others. The fear was Modric and Kroos dominating the midfield. Gerrard, Henderson & Allen looked lost out there.

The movement and technique of Madrid was just unreal. The finish on the first and second goal was incredible. Thought Coutinho was superb.
