I can't believe this, unless Brendon's got a new formation we are going to be toothless again. I hate depending on individual magic for goals, but that looks like a team set up to contain Hull. I just hope I'm wrong because I can't face another afternoon of mediocrasy. Unless Gerrard is pushed up I can't see how that team works.

It's a poor Hull side but sure that hasn't stopped the weaker team before against us. Need a convincing win here today. Need that work rate and intensity in the midfield. Hull are a huge side, would really worry about set pieces considering how bad we've defended this season & how ropey Mig looks on crosses/corners.

I'm not quite sure what team you were expecting? Other than Henderson for Can, that's our strongest team (whilst Sturridge is out). It's certainly not a team set up to 'contain'; Going by our current form, it's not a word you can associate with Rodgers.
