Next 3 become must wins. All down to Rodgers handling of Gerrard because I think we should easily win them.

Imagine if we thumped them. Sturridge bags a brace in a 4-0 win. I honestly think one result like that could make the world of difference to our confidence and form.

We're not a bad team, and we have a good squad nowadays. I feel these next three games are make or break for us. Three wins out of three and the whole mentality of the squad will change.

          We'll probably lose 1-0 won't we?

it's a poxy place to go, especially how timid & easy to play against we've been this season.

I.e. play him for 0 minutes, or 30 minutes or 60 minutes.

              But not for 0 + 30 + 60 minutes per game.

i hope you are right. I really think that Sturridge will make a huge difference when he is back in the team. Also, i think he will strive being the main man up front as well. Finally, i am hoping that BR plays 2 up front - Sturridge and Balotelli - and i can see Mario coming into his own then as well....

that will make a huge difference in how the rest of the season goes but in reality, i don't think it will be enough to mask the defenisve ****e-ness that is LFC this season....

That's hoping a lot from Sturridge on his first game back. He'll need to get match fit first

As an aside why is the Premier League so poor this season?

I was expecting a real heavyweight tussle for the top 6 places with up to 8 really good sides battling it out. Only Chelsea look anything like a decent team at the moment.

Considering all the money that's been lavished on them the quality of the football has been surprisingly poor so far.

would love it if we tonked them, but i don't think Sturridge coming back will sort our issues out,and a draw if were lucky, then again it's football so you never know

The next game is two weeks away, if it's true he's about to start full training then he should be ready. Sturridge has a history of hitting the ground running immediately after coming back from an injury, so there's hope.

Still I'm clearly still massively clutching at straws

Next two are distinctly losable for a team low in confidence.

Defo, any Euro away can quickly get tough and Stoke are game raising *******s. Hopefully they just see us as a mid table nothing club now and take it easy on us. They've already won at City and Spurs this season though. Urgh. And after that we've got Leicester who havent scored a goal for 6 weeks, I wonder whats going to happen there?!
