Awful, dreadful, listless, pathetic drivel. Mid table buys giving us mid table performances, and a mid table finish. Serious questions need asking now about the buys, our performances and the ONGOING mire that is our defence. Rodgers where are you and what the **** have you been doing about it.

Henderson is so negative sometimes. Argh it's really frustrating. Just wouldn't drive into the space. At least Joe Allen did that a bit for us.
Our central midfield has been a weakness for many years now but we seems to want overrate them especially last a season. I've always said that, without a good central mid to control the game you have no chance. Henderson is a runner, Allen is mediocre and Gerrard for more getting on in years and for me was more athletic than mentally adept at running the centre mid.

he's really struggling to find the right balance at the moment, a balance which if we all are honest hasnt been there since he took over.

we scored more than we let in due to the brilliance of two outstanding forwards, and now theyre not playing we're still not good enough defensively and sparkless upfront.

this is year 3, so i dont know how much more time does the manager need to find the right balance despite significant outlays.

We look confused, muddled thinking from the manager, no confidence, our entire ethos seems to have collapsed.

And for those who question Rodgers and how he seems to be refusing to change his methods; Today is that day he changed. We clearly worked on a formation to be compact in defence, but it looked like the players were so focused on their role within this new formation, they forgot how to attack. Clearly it needs some tweaking, but that's going to come with game time.

Newcastle won because we are kamikaze at the back, not because they were creating chance after chance. We matched them for shape and never looked overly threatened.

Its nothing personal with moerno but one footed fullbacks are always a liability in their own box. Midfielders can get away with it.

Lovren is probably one of the worst centre backs I've ever seen. He does nothing well.

Mignolet played well. That's about it.
Yes Lovren is proving to be an absolutely horrible signing.

Good post, he can't quite find the balance at the moment and going forwards we look devoid of ideas at the moment no idea why Lalalla can't get a kick at the moment as we need some ingenuity in the side.
