Put a ton on us @ 9/1 too and you'll be good. (just don't let fate see you is all.)

So er, yeah. Not looking forward to this one.
We are catching them at the worst possible time, they are flying and we're in turmoil.

I don't think we've had long to train for this one either so I doubt we'll have worked on a tactical masterplan to outsmart them. Rodgers' quotes already make it seem like we're resigned to our fate.

Hopefully it's all a double bluff and we've got something up our sleeve, but it's looking more like wishful thinking than anything else.

Who'll drop out of the team for them now that Bale is back?

I doubt it, when I think back to the things Rafa did (sorry to bring him up) - the 4-2-4 with Gerrard wide left against Arsenal, the sneaky formation change against Juventus etc. I just don't see Rodgers at that level yet. We will either go 4-2-3-1 or a diamond, run around a lot, play reasonably well and then concede.

Oh, and I would expect either James or Isco to miss out, presuming Modric and Kroos will start in the middle.

Surely Dan's just going along to feel a part of it?

I would expect an absolute tonking, but there is no certainty in football. Its a funny old game as some mad old ******* used to say.

If we lose 7-0 and play as badly as we've been playing for pretty much the whole season will FSG want a "clear the air" meeting with Rodgers considering their whole business plan with LFC is to have us in the Champions League and getting through to at least the knock out stages every season?

Defeat to Real this week means we will need to win our final two group stage games and hope 9 points with a negative goal difference will be enough.

Its hard to see ANYTHING other than a heavy defeat. I can't see us having the big game experience to at least slow down Real. We'll probably roll up trying to play proper football like its last season and get demolished by Ronaldo and Co again. Forget trying to press the ball at the Bernabeu, we should be starting Lucas/Can/Gerrard in front of Toure/Lovren/Skrtel in a 5-3-2 set-up. Forget Henderson/Allen for this one. Just stick Balo and Sterling up top and hope Real just get frustrated if they aren't 4-0 up by HT.....

To frame things in a more of a positive light. We have just finished our training in the Bernabau. Like it or not, this group of players got us here. So it's deserved.

I can't wait for the game, come what may. But I support Liverpool for nights like tommorow.

Look, we're back where we belong. We just need to prove we should be now.

Adam (?) Phillips I think. Saw on Twitter earlier that he was with the squad.

                            I'd go with this.

                            Jones

                            Mignolet Lovren Manquillo Skrtel

                            Toure Johnson Flanno Enrique

                            Sakho

                            Lucas.
