We're blown all our money. The signings of Moreno and Can I'd describe as good value and solid additions to the squad.

We have nothing.. No link up play, no clever movement and no ****ing quality around the box whatsoever.

Johnson/Gerrard/Lovren all in based on what? Wages? Because there is a serious problem if they're in based on the manager thinking they are the best options we have.

Rodgers won't change this formation that doesn't suit us and isn't working nor will he drop under performing 'stars'.. He needs to prove he can manage a team and finished above 7th without Suarez and its not looking promising at the moment. Its his first season all over again.

I expected a bit more from us towards the end, but Chelsea are so good at squeezing a game shut and reduce the space available to work in, it was always going to be difficult if we need a goal.

The referee was weak and clueless.

I have concerns about our movement in the final third; There is nobody taking a risk to get beyond the ball and we're reliant on Sterling or Coutinho running through a defence. Our defence is a shambles and whilst that's nothing new, you have to question why Rodgers keeps picking Lovren.

No need to put pressure on Rodgers, we've lost a world class footballer, our best striker and it has been difficult getting our new players used to Rodgers' methods.

I saw effort today, we kept trying but just werent good enough. Its the likes of the Newcastle games we need to win. No point picking out individuals, we win and lose as a team. Those wanting Gerrard out, replacing him won't solve the problem. It was his shot that should have got a pen. Its horrible but that's football.
Im a massive Stevie fan but i cant help but think we are sacrificing the shape of the team just to accommodate him.

We didn't play as bad as people are making out, mig was unlucky for their first goal, second was a thunderbolt and the ref took a peno from us. Not too bad against one of the best teams the prem has seen for years.

Too many passengers. I wonder if this is similar to last season but Suarez & Sturridge pulled us out of it so the same players are playing the same way. Them 2 kept the ball for fun around the box, now we struggle within 10 yards of it.

Rodgers is a stubborn feckerand has his favourites. It's clear as daylight as far as I'm concerned. He's sent out the wrong message dropping players that did well the other night. Tactics and formation all wrong for me. Takes off Coutinho and Can. Personally, any ripping Rodgers gets is fully deserved. I don't want him sacked but I'd be lying if I didn't think the wheels have come off.

I thought we quite played well overall tbh.

Without Sturridge we'll struggle to score goals against any side in Europe, it's what happens when you have no strikers.

Can has revitalized our midfield he reminds me of Yaya Toure and I thought Coutinho was magic in the first half.

I think this is it for brendan. he should either leave or be sacked as our manager. this season shows that most of our success was down to luis suarez brilliance and daniel sturridge's goals.

We look like 3 departments all playing their own little game, the defence keep hold of the ball too long and by the time theyve made 6 passes to each other the opposition have closed all the gaps off, our midfield is one of the worst functioning midfields in the premier league. Steven is past his best and shouldnt be a starter any more, and the other two I have no idea what they were supposed to be doing today. Henderson played the worst game i have ever seen him play.

our attacking play had no effect on chelsea, who just waited to counter us knowing that we push forward without any proper defensive shape. all this is because luis suarez left and now teams know there's nothing to fear. we have nothing at all to hurt other teams with and they play their own football.

its the managers job to make us into a team and we're nothing of the sort and that responsibility has to lie with him. he should go.

Nope last season players like Henderson were also playing brilliantly this season him and many others look completely out of form.

The lack of movement in the final third is shocking.

Agree with most of that, but Can, Yaya Toure? No.

I really hope Henry and Werner were watching that to see what was brought off the bench after wasting £100m. Everyone pinning their hopes on an injury prone sturridge. Is that where we really should be after spending what we did in the summer? A one man team again?

We have 3 other strikers, all purchased by Rodgers.
