It's like Gary Neville always says, you're never gonna go from "down there" to "up here" in one or two games...you do it bit by bit, improve the results by hook or by crook, and build confidence and the performances from there. This is pretty much all we could've asked for....a result of sorts in midweek and a win here. I think we'll batter Leicester and if so we can start to look forward with a bit of positivity. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

1000% in agreement. Dream of battering Ludo & Stoke, but it was never going to happen. Desperately short of confidence and we were going to need luck. Got it today.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostIt's like Gary Neville always says, you're never gonna go from "down there" to "up here" in one or two games...you do it bit by bit, improve the results by hook or by crook, and build confidence and the performances from there. Lose to Leicester midweek and it's square one again. Win, then beat Sunderland & Basel & we head to Old Trafford with a bit of confidence again.Originally posted by danperkins View PostA win is a win but whether it's a turning point or just a result that is prolonging the inevitable... We will see.Forwards.......

Oh yeah, all huge around this time as a result of such a poor start. But we've set a precedent now & I expect similar battling v Leicester. They're rock bottom now & they'll be putting the hard miles in.Originally posted by danperkins View PostYup fairly huge game vs Leicester.Forwards.......

Some of the build up play and pressing in the game was reminiscent of last season. im 95% sure moments like the early cross from enrique, sterling cut back to allen, sterling, lambert shot and hendo chances would have been buried by sturridge or suarez. Atm nobody is executing these tap ins or cut backs.
Coutinho also sprinted forth and had nobody ahead of him a couple of times. With SAS we probably would have won this game 4-2 or 4-1. Lambert was good but we need more clinical finishers in the squad. Someone with the running intelligence of studge.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!
