3 points but we were ****ing ****e. They pushed us the whole game, missed open goal & down to 10 men and still were the better side. Thought Sterling's work rate was fantastic, got hacked down the whole game & had zero support but was up and down. Ref was shocking but got the sending off Gerrard non peno right IMO. Easy MOM for me. Good goals from Stevie & Hendo but thought they were ****e... left Lucas so exposed.

2 wins on the bounce is great but so unconvincing..take it though.

Good result and some sparks.
Not claiming we'll get as good as last season, but I think we're over the worst. Bren giving Gerrard a little more freedom helps; Lucas back in also helps. Would like to see more contribution from the new signings, but we all knew they should have been introduced gradually. Especially Lovren.

Pretty poor performance, despite the score line. Couldn't pick out a good performance really - though Lambert did okish and Gerrard come on after his goal, but little else to write home about. Can't say we've come on since Stoke.

Hopefully will drive confidence. Three points away when playing badly can't be a bad thing, but we need to drive on from here against Basle.
