It's starting to really hammer home just how much last season was down to the personality of Suarez rather than the tactical apptitude of the manager. He's having a nightmare

Basel have pressed us really well. They haven't allowed us to find any rhythm or momentum and they break really well using the space behind our full backs. That doesn't really excuse what has been a dour performance so far, but a team low on confidence can't weigh the right ball and wrong decisions are being made.

Get Allen off, put Lallana on and push him alongside Lambert and see if we can actually show some desire.
