    Man Utd Build Up

Please either play Lambert up front and go early and long into him with runners off him and in-behind him.
    or
Don't play Lambert, go with 2 of Borini/Sterling/Markovic up front and get in-behind them with pace and movement.

Please, please please do not play -

    Mingolet
    Manquillo Skrtel Lovren/Toure (injury?) Johnson
    Lucas Allen
    Sterling Gerrard Lallana
    Lambert

and pass it to death from Skrtel to Mingolet, back to Skrtel, moves forward 5 yards, turns back to his own goal, passes back to Mingolet who kicks it out of play for a Utd throw.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Also, with the pressure mounting and the transfer window coming don't be surprised to see Ojo or maybe Phillips or Sinclair as a sub.
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Posted this in another thread, assuming Toure is fit. I'd go with:

              Mignolet
              Johnson - Toure - Sakho - Moreno
              Lucas
              Henderson - Can
              Sterling
              Lambert - Borini

Swap Toure for Skrtel if he's unfit and Borini makes way for Ballotelli, if Mario is back.

Risky bringing Sakho [lack of match fitness]back against Rvp and Rooney and the rest of the Liverpool back line

Sticking Markovic (who isn't a striker) up front away to utd when he's hardly played (and is ****) would be the kind of crazy decision that Rodgers seems to be keen on at the moment. It wouldn't end well.

Southampton showed the way to completely dominate and nullify Utd (ok they lost to two spivy goals but no one considered that a real win for them). Throughout the whole 90 minutes Southampton dominated that midfield area. With **** players like Steven Davies, Long and Mane.

We have similar **** players but I can't see us doing what Southampton did. Got a feeling we'll be gifting them possession (thus the game) and this might be the game Rodgers' is asked to start taking his pictures down from his walls.
                        One tit for another.

He's fast and has a great touch. No idea what his finishing is like, but him & Raheem running at the Mancs ****e backline with Coutinho pinging through balls in behind would at least be exciting to watch. All of them would run around and close them down up the pitch as well, throw in players behind who can run all day like Can & Hendo, with Lucas steadying the ship and more pace out wide in Manquillo & Moreno, would be fun.

Late on bring Gerrard & Lambert to the fore when their lack of pace & drive isn't so noticeable.
                          Forwards.......

For that exact reason I can see Rodgers picking him
