The team being suggested is a interesting one, sad as it is at the moment I doubt there is much between Jones and Mignolet. I don't understand playing Johnson as a CB, I doubt Sakho is fit enough to play but surely a CB 3 of Skrtel, Lovren and Toure at the moment would be the way to go. I would have put Lucas in midfield, but at least the attacking part of the team has some movement in it. It's a gamble but we need to change something.

If that is the line up then we will lose. Jones and Mignolet are poles apart.......but it wont matter - you could have manuel neuer in goal and we'd still be wide open with lovren and skrtel in front of him....and no lucas in front of them.

Kolo and Lucas should both start. So should Mig....what happens if (when) jones makes a **** up against united. Who then plays v arsenal next week??? He will have two goalies with zero confidence.....and a defense that cant communicate anyway...

I hope to **** its not the team. But if it is - then i think it will be a flat back 4 to be honest.....that switches to 3 at the back when we dont have the ball.....like newcastle away earlier this season.....

Personally dont think Jones is as bad as made out to be. But seriously dont understand logic in keeping Mignolet in when his confidence was shot and was making mistake after mistake. Had a couple decent games and gets dropped.

Dropping Mig is a strange one only reason I could possibly understand is Jones is better at marshalling the back 4 but a massive risk imo to make this change especially ad Mig has looked decent enough the past few games.

I've never been a fan of Jones, he's a nice bloke but I've never wanted him in net for us unless it's a cup game against a lower opposition. That said, there's been a couple of games lately where in the warm up drills he's looked World class haha! Pulling out ridiculous saves.

I would have kept Mig and possibly swapped for Jones against someone like Stoke where the pressure isn't quite as high.

Yeah I hope it's wrong. The timing is all wrong and does nothing for the confidence of Mignolet who will still be no. 1 probably to the end of the season

I think to be fair to Mig a big part of the issue is the defence in front of him neither the back 4 or the keeper seem to have any faith in each other to make the right decisions.

defence and gk both are very poor,but even still a top gk can and should be able to marshall/coach his defence,defenders then learn from what the gk and also the other cb/lb and rb want and do
