I got laughed at for suggesting Pulis, yes he's not glamorous or won much but at least he'd have us well drilled and not a team of ****ing skunk pussies. And he'd actually get us playing with some passion and fight which we don't have.

But no, no one will have him because he's called Tony and he's from Newport.

I know there are other managers out there, more successful ones that I'd prefer but I wouldn't mind Pulis as a manager, even on a short term basis.

not only is the manager on borrowed time, whoever might replace him will have a gang of overpaid pussies with no leaders to try and turn into a team. there will only be money from sales. a couple will finish contracts/go on a free, others wont be sellable cos everyone has seen how **** they are. the **** ones wont go elsewhere as they are on good money that no one else will pay them as they have seen how ****e they are.

we really are deep in the ****. i can see it getting worse before there is any light at the end of the tunnel.

We obviously had no reason to expect a repeat of last season,but upturn next season can easily see us back in CL places. Who might lead us to that is another matter, but I can tell you right now it won't be some drill master like Pulis. That sort of move can grind you to midtable comfort but little more.

If Benitez ever did come back, i can't see Gerrard being at the club....... i cant see rafa being headhunted by FSG either to be honest....not enough of a year man....

Agree with the gist of what you say in that it's incredibly frustrating that so many fundamental defensive failures have lingered to the point where they are hurting us badly now we don't have the attacking form to hide it.
