Can's a beast. Sterling was deadly. Skrtel was utterly horrendous and nearly give them 3 goals. Sakho was ok. Apart from that meh.

Points over performance at this stage of the season.

You realise Rodgson as you call him as part of the committee ?

Burnley's tactics were spot on to nullify us.

Good to scrape an away win though on our way to finishing 7th this season

A win's a win away from home on boxing day. Sakho was fantastic, as was Can when he came on second half. Skrtel and Mignolet still liabilities at the back. Lallana had a really good game, and seemed to last the 90 mins. Coutinho and Sterling didn't really do enough, but combined well for the goal which I suppose is all that matters. Markovic very quiet.

We're two points closer to fourth now. Keep winning and the gap will close pretty quickly, even if we've still got a big job on to get there.

Sakho and Can played well. Skrtel and Mignolet were awful.

Plus we have an atrocious boxing day record right? Karma is finally smiling on us at last. Took a while.

1 defeat in our last 9 games now (all comps). Not too shabby...
