Sakho needs a decent partner in defence. Our setup will make any defender look bad at times but Sakho deserves credit.

Henderson has had a bad season and he needs to be reminded his place is not guaranteed.

Having said all that I am starting to think Rodgers will turn this around. It is a team of new signings in transition and he has constantly stated that it will take time.

I agree with Henderson, he's struggled.

I hope against Swansea he isn't moved in midfield and Manquillo goes to full back with Can stuck on the bench again.

Gerrard still has a role to play but he's overused and incorrectly used at times, it seems he won't accept being a bit part player but its about where he should be unfortunately.

I'll be honest I've seen very little from him this season to suggest he has any part to play. Even his set pieces are largely terrible these days. Mind you we aren't exactly flush with people who are clearly more deserving of his place in the team.

Sadly I have to agree with you G, he doesn't cover the defence well at all and going forward has offered very little.

There were a few good through balls today from him but not sure that is enough each week to have him start.

For the record, I've said since last season our strongest XI does not have Gerrard in it, imo.

I wanted him moved forward cos of his ability the strike the ball but sadly he's done **** all there too. His decline has been as quick as it has been drastic.
