He's looked perfect there and his calmness and distribution is such a welcome sight.

Not great. But very promising. I like him.

Shelvey is a very lucky boy.

Still have some confidence issues but the work rate has been great, mostly.

Thing about Can is he's very calm and assured not rushed into making a pass....overall we have played well

              This.

Would like to see more of Sterling on the ball.

Can is doing what we bought Lovren to do. Bringing the ball out from the back with supreme confidence. Also able to ping it long. Wonderful to watch. Unlike Lovren, he also has a bit of pace on him.
                Forwards.......

Did some marshalling of the back line too which was encouraging to see.

                      The new Beckenbauer.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

At some point they'll have to push up & then hopefully we will see Raheem in behind.

What Sterling must not do is get frustrated & drop deep looking for the ball. Allows Swansea to press higher with no worry of a ball in behind.
                        Forwards.......

Did well to shield Jonjo when he got elbowed. Defending will come into question later on in the game methinks and we'll see if he has the answers.

He's been very quiet alright. I'd like for the balls into sterling to be around the back of the defence or down the channels. These ball's into his feet are bread and butter for carthorses like Williams.

Sterling is terrible at hold up play with his back to goal. Lost it every time tonight.
