Pleased that the manager has found a way through the hard times, even if some of the problems have been through his own making. The important thing is that he can find a way around them and get the team going again.

Emre Can looks like the player he wanted as a central defender - calm at the back, able to carry the ball out - sure it wasn't perfect, but it was loads better than it has been.

Really pleased with the performance today. Coutinho is so important to our style of play. Lallana has done well in Gerard's absence & put possibly his best LFC performance in tonight. The wingbacks & Can we're good. Really pleased & it just lacked a Balotelli goal to cap it off.

On a slightly more sobering note, how sh*t did the team INSTANTLY become when Balotelli came on? No runs into the box, no movement to play one twos off Coutinho or Moreno. Hardly any tracking back. The only good one two he did with Markovic was because he knew he had a shot on goal.
