Good result in a typical cup game. Defence handled the long ball threat pretty well. Skrtel & Sakho had very good games, the match thread was embarrassing criticising Skrtel. If you don't like him fair enough, but if he has a good game show some class and just say he had a good game FFS. Can had an absolute nightmare game unfortunately, he struggled to cope with the physicality of Wimbledon.

Mignolet made two great saves but typically enough made yet another terrible blunder costing us a goal. If we had a better keeper we could be 10 goals + better off this season, need better. Great goals by Stevie & Coutinho & Markovic both looked very dangerous.

With better finishing we would have beaten them by 4 or 5. Ok performance, few hairy moments but good result.

P.S. Watching Lambert playing can be a tough watch at times.

      That pitch was good.

A bad pitch would be littered with divots and cut up easily. This was flat, if a little patchy.

Not Prem standards obviously, but for a ground at a League 2 club it was good.
      *Except Michael, who died.

It was certainly decent. The ball ran slowly over parts though which clearly hindered us a few times. You have to deal with that sort of minor inconvenience and for the most part I thought we did.

Otherwise, not great but job done, should've scored more.
The way we play he's totally lost. A few times though on the counter I thought he did well - acting as the pivot of the attack whilst other player ran off him. We don't play to his strengths at all.

Even if the team was built around him, he still wouldn't be up to it. He's the furthest away from being a Liverpool player standard wise that has been signed since the 90's.

I'd say he's about level with them on what he's showing. Voronin was better, Dundee was 90's, Aspas was awful but at least had movement, Konchesky? Who's he, never heard of him.

                  We won.

Then again......it was only a League 2 side.

Not to mention that two teams play on it
