Absolutely. Lager in the UK is pigswill. I'm looking forward to going back home in March for the beer. I'm sick of the local lagers here so looking forward to lots of proper beer (mostly golden ales these days - Surrey Hills Brewery's Ranmore Ale is a particular favourite) from the 1000+ microbreweries that there are now in the UK. Proper beer is the one thing I miss most (not being eaten alive by mosquitoes is a close second) about the UK.

Brendan's early season stubbornness is looking more and more daft with this run. Although its still not there yet, there's a fair bit to be optimistic about.

Sakho looks far and away the best defender at the club

Gerrard looks reborn further forward

Great 3 points. First half was brilliant, although Sunderland were awful were pressed and pushed them back the first 45 mins. Thought Markovic and Coutinho were outstanding in the first half. Borini worked hard and provided a good outlet, even though he is a poor player.

Defensively i thought Can & Skrtel were solid & Lucas was brilliant. Another solid performance by Marty !! Sakho was ok, few very hairy moment but one brilliant tackle and then a break, took huge pressure off us as Moreno was walkabouts. I didn't think Moreno did Sakho any favours today. Henderson worked hard but his passing was terrible, Coutinho's passing in the second half was shocking but IMO he's been superb over the few games.

When Lovren came on in the second half we just looked so out of sorts. Poxy second half display but great result. A fully fit Sturridge will do absolute wonders for our attack... we've essentially been playing without a proper forward (no offence to Lambert or Balotelli) all season.

Terrible and shocking is a bit harsh. Henderson had over 90% accurancy and Coutinho only misplaced 1 pass in the second half up until the 82nd minute, although he did have a couple shortly after which is maybe why it's more memorable. 4 misplaced passes is hardly terrible though and was one less than his impressive first half performance.

Genrally agree with the rest though.

Not come across Ranmore. (Assuming it travels to other parts of the country) I'll look out for it.
