Can didn't have his best game but you'll get ups and downs at 20 years of age, credit to Rodgers for swapping him and Skrtel, a small change but it helped.

Sterling was outstanding.. Get him signed up at whatever he's asking, can't lose him.

Markovic and Moreno ran themselves into the ground again, lacked the end product today but very important players to this system.

Coutinho carries on being Coutinho.. Genius at times.

STURRIDGE.. LOVE the man.

Ibe was encouraging.

Overall.. Very good day at the office.

EDIT: Forgot to mention Mignolet who was solid today, 1 moment but more than happy with his performance.. As for Henderson/Lucas they just work.

We struggled a bit in the first half but looked more comfortable in the 2 nd.

Their physicality caused us some problems but the cream rose to the top in the end.

It's getting infuriating playing this well and gaining on no one. The games are running out. But if we **** up in the next few weeks then just concentrate on the EL, no one stops us playing like this.

Its so well balanced and the wing back system allows us to play with mostly all our best attacking players. There is not one single player who started today who isn't thriving in this new formation/system (Even Mignolet is getting confidence!) Since the change there have been remarkable improvements from Skrtel, Lucas, and Coutinho especially. There is a lot to be optimistic about.

We're getting back on track but it is frustrating, I really don't want to regret the disaster at the start of the season. We've got a team capable of winning the Europa League if we keep Sturridge fit though, its nice to have 2 opportunities to get into the CL.
