I thought Borrini was tragic when he came on last night - particularly when he was supposed to be out wide and kept cutting in and congesting play.

I was really surprised he was brought on when we were chasing a goal.

Obviously it turned out that we won but I thought the last 10 minutes were tailor made for Lambert - we're chasing the game and they have everyone behind the ball so plan B's needed.

Yes I know he's got good feet for a big man blah blah, but isn't that why we bought him - to go a bit more route one when needs must.

It was a bizarre change. Couldn't fathom it. Get Borini on to play up front for three minutes, then bring Sturridge and move Borini to wing back? WTF?

He obviously didn't want to change the formation and Borini was the most logical replacement for an injured Markovic.
