I hope that some of our forgotten players might 'come back' mentally after tonight.
I thought they played pretty well - harried and closed us down really well, Countinho hardly had a look in. They are still very questionable at the back thankfully.

Owen might as well whop his wiener out & stroke one out whilst he talks about spuds.

Speaking of shanking one out; Emre.
      3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Also loving that they gave Coutinho such close attention that it let others thrive. We really drew them in on their right and then hammered them down our right with Markovic and Ibe. **** it lads we can attack down both wings

I don't think he was that bad today. Made a few damn good blocks and interceptions

There a number of people who can't express anything in a constructive way, and it's bloody stupid, but it doesn't change the fact that he is really struggling compared to his peers.

Was just thinking the same thing earlier. We have so much flair, pace and dribbling experts in the team that singling players out just isn't going to work.

I'm just going to say it, I quite like Michael Owen as a co-commentator.

It's not gerrard bashing, it's questioning rodgers tactics of playing him at DM

Call it Gerrard bashing if you want, but he frankly isn't up to the level of this incredibly vibrant, quick and skilful young side. He's 34, there's no shame in it, he's been a colossal player for our club but he should start the majority of games on the bench in my opinion. He does a job but anyone watching the game can surely he see he isn't quite up to the pace and level of our game lately?

If you mean a guy in his mid thirties can't always keep up with people half his age, then yes it happens. But he a still has enough influence and talent to play his part. He just no longer runs a game. Great tackle for their freekick, I'd want all my players tackling like that. Scored a great pen, put some good blocks in and played some good passes. Henderson was also guilty of giving the ball away and being run round. We've just won 3 2 and people want to criticise the one player who at his stage should be spared the abuse. The one player above all others who deserves respect. Mario another scapegoat got the winner and that useless cunt in goal pulled off a worldlie. Some people on here must be sick.
