even worse when you see the stuff next to itOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostSome Mirror ratings
Sakho 5/10
Can 6/10
Moreno 5/10
Gerrard 8/10

Gerrard 8 - Booked. Dominant display and took his penalty well.
Sakho 5 - Booked. Fell over to let Kane in for his goal.
Can 6 - Was drawn out of position for Tottenham’s opener.
Moreno 5 - Did not create enough on the left flank.
Skrtel 6 - Booked. Battled Kane and caught out for his goal.
Oh I say his vision there was lovely

I guess in a game of 5 goals you are unlikely to get many defenders getting MotM. However, in context of the Spurs players ratings, the Mirrors don't seem all that bad? Gerrard unnecessarily lenient (though he did ok) Moreno's unnecessarily harsh.
Liverpool
Mignolet 7 - Beaten by Kane, but saved well from Bentaleb.
Can 6 - Was drawn out of position for Tottenham’s opener.
Skrtel 6 - Booked. Battled Kane and caught out for his goal.
Sakho 5 - Booked. Fell over to let Kane in for his goal.
Ibe 8 - Was always positive and caused Spurs problems.
Gerrard 8 - Booked. Dominant display and took his penalty well.
Henderson 6 - Started quietly before he grew into the game.
Moreno 5 - Did not create enough on the left flank.
Markovic 7 - Opened the scoring with his third Reds goal.
Coutinho 5 - Subdued compared to his dazzling recent displays.
Sturridge 9 - MOTM. Hit the post with a backheel and won a penalty.
Subs
Lovren 6 - Little to do after replacing Gerrard
Balotelli 7 - Unlikely hero with close-range winner
Lallana 6 - Supplied the cross for Balotelli to snatch victory
Tottenham
Lloris 5 - Denied Sturridge, but was at fault for Markovic’s goal.
Walker 6 - Enjoyed a real tussle with Moreno on his flank.
Vertonghen 6 - Beaten by Markovic for Liverpool’s opener.
Dier 6 - Struggled trying to cope with Sturridge’s pace and guile.
Rose 3 - Toasted by Ibe and fouled Sturridge for penalty.
Lamela 7 - Great work to set up Kane for his goal.
Mason 6 - Booked. Good, but let Sturridge in from a bad pass.
Bentaleb 6 - Ran away from Markovic for his goal.
Eriksen 5 - Booked. Did not influence the game enough.
Dembele 6 - Booked. Bundled the ball home for Tottenham’s equaliser.
Kane 8 - Scored one before making the second for Dembele.
Subs
Paulinho 5 - Came on for last 20 minutes with little impact
Chadli N/A
Soldado N/AModifying post.

I thought they were good, and totally outplayed us in central midfield. We did well to grind out the win, and the substitutions were excellent. Lallana was boss when he came on, trying to drive things further forward. They were more fanciful in their stuff (although their defence was horrific), and we were more battling.
Funny, I was going to post more or less the opposite. I thought they looked a lot more dangerous in attack than us but we were much more intricate and varied in our attack.
