Thanjk you.

We are picking up too many injuries at the moment, Gerrard, Lucas, Couthino, Henderson, Sakho, all 1st choice players when fit.
I hope the last 3 are available for City.
Sakho is the one I think is most important to have fit from the last three.
If Sakho was fit and the other two were not then we have the likes of Lallana, and Markovic that can play instead of Coutinho. We would be able to put Can into Henderson's position and play Toure at RCB.
Take Sakho out and even if the other two are fit I would be a bit wary of our back three as it could mean Can been shunted over the LCB again and Lovern at RCB .
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Coutinho needs a rest, I wouldn't want to take any risks with Hendo or Sakho either so I'm fully on board with leaving them at home. I'd have left Sturridge there too. League should still be our number 1 focus imo.
And even with a whole host of players missing, I still think we will be too strong for Besiktas. I think key is the opening 15 mins and more obviously, the first goal.
I do think we have an abundance of possibilities in the squad this year though and we wills till put out a very strong side. A front three of Lallana, Sterling & Sturridge is excellent, Moreno & Ibe have been excellent at wing back, whilst Can & Allen compliment each other well in midfield. Lovren did okay once settled in difficult circumstances for him and difficult conditions v So'ton, whilst Toure in for Can is probably not too bad a thing considering we will possibly come a bit under the cosh. Skrtel & Migs have of course been much improved of late.
I think when you consider that team is missing a number of players, that's an exceptional team.
