You've 'slipped' up there cream. Did you not see the stats or were you out when the memo was handed out?Originally posted by cream View PostBecause I think sterling needs a break. As for a winning team, Gerrard was part of a winning team before he got injured so why not.
And why would we send Raheem to Jamaica for a second time this year, mid-season?
One tit for another.

Really looking forward to tomorrow now, added importance. Swansea will know this and try to feed off the nerves by defending deep and letting the red section of the crowd get restless, even though they're at home.
But high pressure games, where have I seen this before? Oh yeah a league challenge and we did fantastically during that period. Our players will be ready.
One tit for another.

Massive game. One where we need our best team. No room for sentiment or favourites. Rodgers has to play his strongest team - and IMO that includes Sakho (alongside Skrtel and Can) and Sterling (with Coutinho and Sturridge). Gerrard on the bench (with Lovren).
This is a strong team and bench...
Lucas getting some game time against Swansea (if fit) would be a big boost ahead of the Utd and Arsenal games.Originally posted by frank the tank View Post

With a bench of Ward, Lovren, Johnson, Lucas, Gerrard, Lallana and Balotelli....Another MASSIVE game

Flanno is declared fit. I think he might be on the bench too.
I'll be interested to see where he plays when he gets the opportunity. Presumably the wingback role.

Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I'd say if we lose tomorrow then 3rd is realistically gone and 4th suddenly looks much harder. Every game is going to be like this until we're in the top 4 and a rival loses. With so few games left we have to try and match their results because a 5 point gap with 9 remaining is massive. Think it's a disadvantage playing last, puts a bit more pressure on us.

I was hoping United would drop points either last week or today so we can't afford anything other than a win tomorrow night. Setting up another must win against them lot the week later, its going to be very difficult, our start to the season was really horrific and we'd only have ourselves to blame.Vive la France
