You make a lot of good points, but its hard to see them in amongst all that corruption chat.
Whilst Chris is obviously prone to a bit of hyperbole, I do think in the bigger games this year we've been dealt a poor hand in terms of refereeing decisions. Mata's second goal at Old Trafford was blatantly offside and pretty much killed off our chances. Cahill's egregious handball at Anfield is another.

I've seen most "neutrals" argue Atkinson had a good game on Sunday, but apart from the obvious big decision he got right, he was **** and **** in a way that benefited Man U over us.

If we finished 5th to Man U I think we have every reason to complain about how the referees performed given their influence in our two games against them.

The whole corruption and bent talk is all a bit embarrassing. The officiating is just of a poor standard and it is swings and roundabouts throughout the season. LFC fans become a parody of themselves when all this "everyone is against us" bull**** is spouted.

The ref wasn't bent, he made a few good calls & a few pretty poor calls. That's standard practice for referees in the premier league unfortunately. I get hyperbole during the game or in match threads, all part of emotions. But when everything is done and dusted surely suggesting corrupt officials on a clear head.... is a wee bit much.

Missed the game due to travelling. Haven't seen any of the action. More ****ed off than a ****ed off thing. Had a feeling we would be let down by the players, we have been looking **** lately. I've said it before that we have a touch of the arsenals about us, seem to come up short when it matters most. I hate those cunts. ****ing losing home and away to that lot. Its ****ing dire. **** football.

What a ****ing disaster this game has turned out to be. They well and truly rattled us.

Sorry if someone's already mentioned this but that Swansea game really helped them. It gave them all the clues they needed as to how to exploit our formation.

& somehow Van Gaal is being heralded as a tactical genius.... we struggled against Blackburn & Swansea so we should blame Gary Bowyer & Garry Monk - ****s

Brendan definitely deserves next season, think the chase for top 4 was done this weekend though , as we seem to have run out of steam and ideas the last few weeks ,

If it wasn't for some wonder goals , we would be really struggling as seem to have lost our spark in and around the opposing area , chances not being created , Sturridge taking time to find his fitness again ,

Proper ****ed us up. And the biggest wind up for me is when LVG keeps saying they beat us three times this season.

I'd play this vs Arsenal. Skrtel's out. Can has had a bad few games at the back. Time to cut him lose a little. Tell him to protect the back four in a Lucas role. Bring the experience of Toure and Johnson into the defence. They are more right sided and so it's more balanced than shoehorning Lovren in. Johnson can also guide Markovic through the game. I think Sakho can match anything Wellbeck does, and Toure can match Giroud in the air, where he poses a threat.

Henderson breaks forward, with Can protecting. As do Markovic and Moreno. Adding Sterling up front takes some heat off Sturridge and really puts Mertesacker under pressure with his pace. Coutinho in a free role behind the front two.

You mean you didn't realise that a pre-season kick about really mattered? Do keep up!
