    Won't happen though.

Won't happen though. We've the 5th highest wage bill and might not even finish 5th.Thats how things will remain for us without cash or a superstar striker willing to spend a few years here.
It's not about not wanting one but being realistic about one coming in lets be honest nobody was really kicking the door down when we were on our knees under Hicks & Gillette

The money needed in football these days is ludicrous, I've not checked but I'd bet the biggest spenders in the top European leagues are generally the sides pushing to win it. We don't have the resources and whilst if FSG could Magic an Abramovich type buyer who'd lavish us with cash I'd be happy to see it happen it's about as likely as Lovren winning the Ballon D'Or next year.

It's come to a point where I'm starting to like the idea of having a billionaire owner. Times are changing and we need to change with them. Unlike when we failed to change when the premier league formed and look at what happen there. I'm starting to feel I'll never see Liverpool win the league again in my lifetime and I'm only in my early 30's.

In the pantheon of **** footballers to play for LFC Dejan Lovren is the crown prince. 20 ****ing million pounds for an absolute donkey, 20 ****ing million. Jesus. ****ing. Christ.

I know, that's why I said it won't happen. But there's seemingly -plenty of fans who convince themselves they'd hate it if we were winning under a billionaire, like there some right or wrong way to do it, there isn't. It's either win or don't and to do it against the 4 ahead of us requires massive resources. We always spent big in relative terms during the glory years and now we can't afford to which is why we aren't winning.

No rich billionaire aside though, it's no excuse to be wasting the cash we do have or getting poor value for money, something we do with monotonous regularity.

That was weird, we played like it was a pre season friendly. Dont really know what to say, it was just ****ing strange!! Only good thing was the pyro after our goal.
