Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

I think he should stay and will stay. He deserves one more chance to get his transfers right.

This season has shown up some deficiencies in his management, namely an inconsistent ability to motivate the team and a little bit of tactical schizophrenia, but these issues are absolutely dwarfed by the mistakes made with recruitment.

Some of those signings may come good but to go through this season with a squad so unbalanced, so unsuited to our previous system of play, and full of players not trusted by the manager is pretty hard to defend.

I still retain hope that the addition of the right striker and centre mid could see us firing again. If not, he should go at the end of next season.

IF we could get Klopp & only if I'd be happy to see him go

I've grown to like BR but not love him as previous managers - too much of an snake oil salesman for me...
What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

tbh, for me it's more about not getting our targets in, and then settling for players down the list, and that's not really any ones fault, because those players simply didn't want to come here over another club, some even when we had CL football.

Whether it's because it's Liverpool, or having a non proven trophy winning manager, or they don't think the owners will or can do enough compared to other clubs we are rivals with, i'm not sure, probably a bit of all.

I dont want him sacked, and barring an atrocious collapse to end the season, I don't think FSG will sack him either.

That said, he needs a good start to next season. I think its fair to say he'll need top four next season to keep his job come June 2016. I'd also like to see a consistent plan in terms of formation and transfer dealings this summer.

Probably make more sense to have such a poll or thread in six games time.

Short of a complete collapse in those six games I think he will get another season, and I think he has just about done enough since joining the club to warrant that fourth season.

We can debate the money spent, the players bought, the systems used and what not until the cows come home, but right now the fifth placed club in the league is the club that is the fifth highest earning club (I think) and it is a club that has gone through most of this season without the two players that were the top scorers in the league last season.

My hope is that Rodgers will have learned from his mistakes this season, and also that he will get a bit more luck with injuries. I also hope that a few players will become even stronger characters after this season and see that they are needed as leaders ( am thinking about the likes of Sakho and Can as they have shown signs of being able to lead others).

If Rodgers was to be sacked then de Boer is the man I would want to see come in. But right now, and with six games to go, my preference is that Rodgers gets another season (and gets backed in the transfer market in the summer) and I think FSG will be thinking along the same lines.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Should we have another poll after six games:

                    □ Yes

                    □ No
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Only if we somehow got Klopp or Simeone. Even then I'd be sad to see him leave.

Weigh it up at the end of the season IMO. See how we finish then take it from there, so i'll hold on voting for a bit.

He said we'll be challenging for the league next season. So if he does stay that has to be his minimum target.

Think he meant the Europa League.

Perhaps Brendan has taken the team/club as far as he can. Just putting that possibility out there.
