ah the classic pick up one point and ignore the rest argument. Of course he has, didn't say he hadn't however, just like Houlier took us as far as he could in that regime, I think Moores has taken us as far as he can in this regime.

Somethings going to happen sooner or later, and I think sooner.

we had two injuries today, 3 if you include Kewell, and we had nothing to breing on from the bench. The lack of quality in the squad is telling.
i'm not one to defend moores usually, but how is that moores fault. the key reason we didn't win today is that 3 of the front 4 (ie forwards + wingers) weren't good enough. two of those 3 never will be in my view.

those 3 players were all bought by rafa with moores money. had it have been spent more wisely then today would have been a different story.

Well I wouldn't say bellamy was hugely at fault today, Pennant and Gonzo a combined fee of 9mil, not exactly big money that is it. And it's not moores money, it's the clubs money, if the fella had put his hand in his pocket to put some money into the kitty, we might have better players.

Bellamy was at fault today on more than one occasion. One of the worst for me was when Crouch won aheader at the back post and Bellamy, who could've got on the end of the header, stood and watched as Woodgate came in and headed it over the bar.

okay I'll take that, but he was no worse than most of the players today, so I don't think he should be singled out. The lad hasn't been given a proper chance by most.

Gonzo isn't big money no, but Pennant was in my view. Rafa has been saying the right flank was his number one priority for two seasons now. If it was, he could have just got Kuyt and Alves for the same money as Kuyt, Bellamy and Pennant.

That was Rafa's choice. If he really rated Alves then its a poor one.

No matter what the financial limitations, Rafa could have started the season with his first choice striker and his first choice rightwinger at the club. The fact that didn't happen is down to Rafa.

I'm not singling him out. Just giving my view on him as a player. I don't rate him personally and never have.

If someone said I could have my first choice right winger, or abandon my first choice right winger just so I could have the chance to sign Bellamy, it would be a very very easy decision for me.

Belive me when I say that I've given him about as much chance as I think he deserves. I never wanted him anywhere near the club for the exact reasons that he's showing now. He has bags of pace but he is worse than Cisse when it comes to using it. He also has poor technique, a poor first touch and is a terrible finisher of the ball. He's exactly the opposite of what we needed and we would have been better keeping Cisse or Sinama-Pongolle.

And that's not even mentionig his questionable attitude.

A truely terrible signing for the club.

we have no evidence Alves was for the right wing, I'm fairly confident he was for Right back
