Clearly so, neither is the finished article but Ings is significantly further on in terms of being able to provide a solid and consistently useful option through the season. All last season I watched our strikers want to come deep and be involved in the play thinking they were Zidane. Delighted to hear Ings say that first and foremost he wants to stretch the play to allow the creative players freedom to work.

He's showed that plenty in pre-season. Interestingly, Origi has done the same (off the defender's shoulder) and I imagine Firmino and Benteke will live there too.
