I didn't want Ings and I'm happy to be shown to be wrong on what I've seen so far. Better than than the other way round. Benteke I still worry about, not his fault but I can foresee Sturridge/Ings being a better pairing (assuming they get the chance to become such).

I said he'd be a good signing. But it shows the state of the season when we are hailing him after 45 minutes of football.

Except he works his socks off (like Kuyt) and loves to try to score goals, i.e. doesn't sit back 25-30 yards demanding the ball. He gets himself right next to the goalie. He's a great foil for Sturridge who can use his intelligent movement slightly further away.

I can't see him being anything other than popular with the fans. Hopefully because of the goals too.
