He was never going to be a Keita type signing, a world class talent for a world class fee, but more in the bracket of Robertson, or even Shaqiri, a good player, available at a reasonable fee that has the scope to improve massively. And the early signs were good, he was finding his feet before that first injury, so who knows what could have been.
