Yeah it's a tough one alright. would rather us have an proven old head as a reserve keeper... likes of Valdes for United, when Schwarzer was at Chelsea or Given for Stoke. Bogdan was a weird choice in the first place, he is a really poor GK and has never shown anything in his career to think that he could ever be any better than that.

I can only assume that we got he because he was on a free and he had a good game against us last year. Aside from saving the pens in the league cup tie earlier in the season he hasn't even looked average, based on these performances we'd have been better keeping Brad Jones
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

You need your keeper to be commanding and that generally goes with someone who isn't afraid to be heard and have a go at people, stand up for themselves (and team mates). Looking at alot of the keepers we haave signed they mostly seem rather quiet or timid which isn't what you want. Good keepers tend to be mad *******s. The keepers we have been signing look seem to be the professional equivalent of the kid at school who wants to play football, but barely knows how to so gets stuck in goal to keep him out of the way.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
